Useing a Static Mesh for level Transition effect (fade In/out) on a Gaze Trigger Function

I’ve created a gaze function with the vive where you can trigger objects just by looking/gazing at that object. Also, I’ve created a teleportation ability with that Gaze function to teleport me from one scene to another just by gazing/staring at the object in VR. I’m trying to create a level transition from one scene to another by adding a translucent sphere over the characters position to be triggered to slowly fade-in/appear through blueprints to mimic a level transition/fade(in/out) effect. How can create a level transition based off a gaze function or how can i adjust the opacity of an object through blueprints to mimic this idea?
