I want to edit my material for painting my landscape, and in the material editor, there are different checkboxes for what to use your material for, and I want to checkmark it for"used with landscape." But, this option does not show up. I am using version 4.17 and I might just be missing something completely obvious, since I am new to Unreal Engine.
This flag is obsolete in 4.17, it has been removed.
Thank you for noting that it is actually now obsolete. i can stop hunting for a non-existent option.
