use proxy elements for viewport that render a high poly mesh

Hello there!

I´m struggling with something, hopefully I can find help here:

I´m working in a project that is NOT real time, and I´m working in huge scenarios. I don´t need to see all the geometry in high in the viewport, so I´m wondering if there is a method to can make a blueprint that let you to see proxy geometry in the viewport, but that later this geometry is override with high poly geo in the render.

Is this possible? Someone knows how to do this?
