USD animation not showing on instances

I have a usd file with a point instancer where each prototype prim has an animation file referenced over it. When i import this into unreal the animation appears empty when i try to play it back in sequencer. I imported just a single prototype that was not instanced and it worked. Any ideas on how to fix this? I don’t know if its on my side if i did something wrong or its just not supported yet. Thanks!
