USB mouse input lag on MacOS

I have a Corsair M55 RGB PRO mouse connected with a USB cable converter into the MacBook Pro USB port.
Sometimes it lags quite a bit on the movement, which takes place even after I stop moving the mouse.
This does not happen with the trackpad.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Haven’t had any issues in other program so far.

Hey man were you ever able to figure this out? I have the same issue but I use a different mouse.
