While reviewing the Island Creator rules, I found in the Creator Guide list that outfits are being provided. They are available at (Box), and there are about 114 of them.
I plan to create island thumbnails for promotion. I understand that the 144 officially provided images can be used, but my question is about the Fortnite character folder within UEFN. There are about 1,200 characters in it—can these characters be used to create thumbnails? If not, I’m curious why these characters are included in UEFN in the first place.
Created In Fortnite is for brands advertising via Fortnite.
You can use any Fortnite character, in the Character folder or imported (e.g. via FNPorting), for the thumbnail (UNLESS it’s a third-party IP character, e.g. Marvel or DC).
Like the person above me said. You can use any character in the game as long as it’s not a particular copyrighted character. Although I’ve noticed that no matter what the character , if it’s in fortnite you can get away with using it I’m a thumbnail.
