Dock10 is one of Europe’s leading digital media service providers. Operating at the heart of MediaCityUK in Manchester, our clients have access to HD TV studios, digital post-production, cloud media management services and advanced connectivity options.
We currently have requirement for a UE4 Artist to join our growing studio and post business delivering projects for flagship network programmes.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the project manager and working alongside the existing VFX team the successful candidate will be responsible for creation and integration of 3D assets into a UE4 based broadcast system.
Upon successful completion of the key R&D stage (December 2017) continued work for the final project will contain a combination of virtual and augmented studio sets, data driven graphics, presenter touchscreen control and TV gallery interface.
A talented and experienced self-starter who is capable of delivering against tight deadlines. You will have the ability to work well within a team but also be confident enough to make design decisions on your own. A creative individual who can work to brief but also add their own artistic flare and push the boundaries of technology.
Being an artistic UE4 developer is the core skill, supplemented with strong blueprint experience. A knowledge of Maya and / or Cinema 4D would be beneficial and a love of all things VFX and immersive technology would help too. Ideally you will have several years’ experience working at mid to senior level, preferably developing photorealistic interior environments, delivering exceptional work to high profile clients.
In return, we offer the opportunity to work alongside leading broadcast specialists in a friendly working environment, develop content for flagship BBC programmes utilising the latest and most innovative broadcast technologies. A highly competitive day rate that is guaranteed to run up to Christmas and possibly beyond is on offer, along with all the benefits of working for one of the UK’s largest creative companies at the forefront of the media industry.
We look forward to hearing from you!
