Hello ! I just install UE 5 ( 5.0.3) - when i try to start my very first project - it crashes when i put “mouse” on the UE panel , i mean outside of the projects borders
so issue
If that did not work, in your NVidia control panel, have you tuned any settings? Another common fix for this issue is to go into NVidia Control Panel and reset the global defaults. There may be a setting active or error that is making Unreal unable to function.
Here are the instructions to do so. These instructions come from Nividia and not from Epic Games:
Right-click on your desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel.
Click Manage3D Settings.
Click the Global Settings tab.
In the upper-right corner, click Restore Defaults.
sorry for the long answer
YOU KNOW, AT FIRST I was skeptical about your comment, but I tried to do as you recommended - indeed, the problem was fixed

I had the error number …00084 and what worked for me was deleting the Saved and Intermediate folder. Then everything worked as usual. Be sure to take a backup of the folders just in case.
I also have similar issue with the UE 5 and that is EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000028 with Foliage.
When I try to add any object ot the Foliage panel it’s crash my UE 5 immediately.
Please how can I fix that.
Here are the example of my issue:
Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000028
Same problem, what i don’t understand is that the version 5.1 works and the 5.0 doesn’t.
I have updated the drivers, added the exclusions to the antivirus and reset the 3D Settings.
If you have solutions, I’m all ears!
For anyone still having this problem, I tried every trick under the sun to fix this issue happening to me with this same exception_access_violation.
The solution ended up being very weird: apparently on Asus motherboards, there’s a sound controller called Sonic Studio that conflicts with Unreal. Go to Device Manager and look for a driver called Sonic Studio (or Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer) and disable it. Once I did, Unreal Engine stopped crashing.
Добрий день, можливо мені хтось із цим допоможе

пробував теж багато різних способів, але безуспішно
Надіюсь тут знайду відповідь
