Urgent - Can't export sequence as a video format

The title says it all.

I have set up a cinematic in a way to create a scene and was even able to export it as a collection of jpegs.

The problem is, for some reason, I cannot export the same scene in either of the two video formats Unreal comes with.

When I go into settings, to select the format I want it to export the scene as, neither Apple Prores, nor Avid appear, despite the fact they are both enabled in the plugins. It only offers me image formats.

For reference, I am using a MacBook pro to do this. I tried disabling and reenabling the plugins, I made sure that I have a video player on my Macbook Pro, but Avid and Prores flat out do not appear at all.

I need a solution for this immediately, because it is for a project for my college program and the due date is in a few days. I have no other issues with the project accept this one

Use the legacy render! Quality is the same, you can export video

Thank you you for the swift response.

While I was able to export it as a video, using your method, I have a new problem. The video goes two fast. The original render is supposed to be 3 minutes long, but using the method you suggested, it exported it as a 25 second long video. Is there any way to make the legacy render export the animation at the proper length

I have to tell you that to export video is not a good practice,
now the fashion says exr, and using another tool as Davinci you do post production

But as you are in a hurry, at the moment let’s see render movie legacy haha

To clarify, I mean it goes about twice as fast as it is supposed to. What I am asking is how to make the animation be rendered in exported at the speed it was designed to be watched at

Yeah I understand, but makes no sense to me right now, because if your animation fps and sequencer fps match…

I’m going to render this and see…

Do you have Time Dilation or some rate different?

Just asking because I have no idea

Ah perhaps, is because the max fps, not sure but the command is
t.MaxFPS 25

The framerate of the legacy video capture and the framerate of the animation are both 30fps. Also, when I try to lower the framerate of the legacy video capture to a custom framerate, it has literally no effect

I checked it, and it looks just like yours. Honestly, I think you were right earlier, about it not being a good idea to render video in unreal engine and that I should have used a software like davinci to do everything.
I explained the situation to my professor and he basically told me to do the same as what you told me earlier, after I tried and failed to get it to work the way he highlighted it in my program. I guess that video rendering feature just doesn’t work properly on MacOS.
I thank you for your patience, swift responses, and doing everything you can to help me

@alberto Hi, I am seeing some similar issues in UE5.1.0. I haven’t used Davinci and I am working on a Windows PC. I’ve set up a scene with streamed content and a blueprint water plane. I need to create an animated 13 second video output from different angles however, even though the preview appears as intended - the output ignores the camera path and the desired resolution. I’ve tried using the legacy “Movie Scene Capture” interface and the “Movie Render Queue” and had the same results. Any advice is totally appreciated. Thanks!
