I am trying to align two separate LIDAR scans of the same area. I had already aligned the drone photogrammetry to the first one before I was given the second one. However, I can’t seem to align the second LIDAR to the first one correctly using control points. Is there a proper workflow to align the second LIDAR (E57) to the first one?

Hi Jan,
are your LIDAR data georeferenced? Then you can merge them by check this option in alignment settings.
If not, you need to use more control points. These control points should be placed over all datasets and you will need minimally three points. Also, you need to place it in both lidar components. Each point on minimally three LSPs (also two will do the work).
