I actually ended up buying this to get the highway signs. I havent used the buildings much but the roads are pretty cool As FrankieV mentioned, its a different take on the modular design than the standard lately. It’s all done in BP. So you can drag out the one BP for a road. Then with check marks and drop downs, dramatically change it’s appearance and function.
It’s missing a few critical things though. Like a highway ending to straight away. Always seem to have to have an on/off ramp if you want to end the highway which doesnt end it, because it contiues the highway on. All of the guard rail assets are turning only. There doesn’t seem to be any straight away guard rails which seems kinda silly. Theres a a few different beat up road types, though they all look pretty similar. I’d say my largest complaint for the roads would be the paint. Yellow line is there, but not much in the way of dotted white lines.
The buildings look pretty good. All in all its good pack. It’s quite easy to use and figure out. There are prebuilt buildings ready for use. The modular pieces appear to be assembled by floor which makes things quick. Each building type has it’s own BP with its own set of check marks and drop downs for customization. The models load quick and aren’t resource hogs. I’d say its similar in look to the urban city pack but has **significantly **less props included. Doesn’t quite have that grungey new york look at the modular building set but loads much quicker and has way better road set up. The modular set doesn’t really have a real road system. So it doesn’t out do any of the current packs but it doesnt fall behind either. The ease of use would put you making a city pretty quick with this pack. There could be more props though.
