Updating a class blueprint does not update existing instances

Title says it all, I have a blueprint that I placed a couple of instances on the map. When I come back to the blueprint and I want to expand on it, existing instances except the last does not update to the new version.

I made sure I was recompiling the bluepring and did a rebuild of the scene. The documentation here says that existing instances would be updated. Not sure on how to proceed now.

Turns out I wasn’t saving the blueprint but merely compiling it.
