If only Manufactura K4 would give a more detailed asset list for that tropical forest environment, and maybe answer all the concerns associated with their other pack on the marketplace that’s had so many quality issues.
Edit: I sound like a huge debbie downer. The other stuff looks great!
It might be because Deke was waiting for me to provide him with my epic id details. I sent it to him, so it should be up soon if that’s what was holding it up.
As far as I’m aware, they don’t put price on the trello board. Some content providers have included that information in their threads here though, given they actually have one.
Hello! is a little nit picky, but there’s no FX section on the trello board… there is a sound fx and an audio section… so… yeah. I’m guessing sound fx is meant to be fx?
If I look at the list in the first post it feels as if from week to week less stuff get’s added to the marketplace… why? The last great addition of new content was 02/10/2015.
Hi ! The reason the rate seems lower is that we used to post content on the Trello board for voting before we tested it internally, and we wouldn’t get the files until after the voting period ended. After that, we’d sometimes find issues or request additional changes that would take days to weeks to fix. The way we work now is that if a submission makes it past our internal review process, we take the files and run them through our quality assurance process to test for issues, and only then do we put them on the Trello board for voting.
The result is that the quality of items to vote on is much higher, there are fewer bugs, and if a submission gets enough votes in a short amount of time, we can publish it to the Marketplace much more quickly than we could before. is a window of opportunity for submitters to advertise what they’ve submitted and get a lot of votes so we can publish when the interest level is high, which will get them more sales.
is a recent change, and we have a lot of submissions after GDC that we’re testing and updating. The total number of submissions is basically 5x higher than it was before. Once we get through a full submission -> QA -> Trello cycle, you’ll start seeing how much more content will be coming through the pipeline. It just looks a little lonely right now, but that’s temporary, and it’s for a good reason. I hope that answers your question.
