Fortnite’s timer device is lackluster, to say the least, and I have some ideas to improve it easily. First, I would love to see an option for when you send a signal to the timer device, time is either added or subtracted from the timer. This would be great and allow for maps to make the timer part of games rather than just waiting for it to hit 0 before anything happens. Second, the ability to attach the HUD timer anywhere on your screen, like with the HUD device, would be great and would allow creators to place logos next to different timers displayed on the screen. Adding to that, allow for players to have multiple timers displayed on the HUD. These features are simple but would help creators make more time-dependent maps that challenge players. There are thousands of views on videos making custom timers since the timer device is simply old and outdated. Thank you for reading and I hope this can be added to the game.
