Update level sequence thumbnails?

I thought this was simple, get all level sequences, open them, lock the viewport to the camera cuts track and save them using the sequencer UI save method. Except I found out there’s no save method. Saving the assets themselves using unreal.EditorAssetLibrary.save_asset() doesn’t update the thumbnail. Is this impossible?

In content browser, right click on Level or Level Sequencer > Asset Actions > Capture Thumbnail
Right click will pause the viewport and that paused image will be your thumbnail.
