So an update made it so that if you have specific use of a material, you need to define that. Honestly, I don’t like that at all, because it adds an extra click out of nowhere, the setting is obscure and hard to find causing problems to those who don’t know about it, and most of all, how do you change 300-400 materials without the ability to add them to a property matrix like components or SMs?
This means that I have to spend a lot of time opening all materials one by one, scrolling all the way down to setting like “used with nanite” then exiting (which lags UEFN when you do btw). And I have to do with all projects.
Not only that, some materials inside FN itself are not flagged to be used with nanite, so we get validation errors when we launch live edit, and its not even our fault!
What a mess
