Upcoming Disruption of Service Impacting Unreal Engine Users on GitHub

it works, thx!

Same problem of 5.0 here

What do you mean update? I tried downloading that file that was on github for 5.1 and it still did not work.

Try cloning 5.2. I just did and setup finished successfully and created solution with no problem. Compiling it now.

Any update on this? Still not working for me using 5.1.

4.27.2 still not work.

Because I use 4.27.2 I went to the 4.27 branch on GitHub and downloaded the Commit.gitdeps.xml file that is on that branch and was committed a couple of days ago. Setup.bat worked after that.

same problem

Go to the 4.26 branch on Github (not the 4.26 tag, the branch). Then download the latest version of Engine/Build/Commit.gitdeps.xml and replace it on your repo. This file was updated yesterday on GitHub presumably to fix this issue.

It worked for me on 4.27.2.

thanks verymuch! I replaced my own tags-“5.1.1-release” version of this file with the “ue5-release-enginee-staging” version, and now it works

I wonder why the authorities themselves do not replace these documents, which may cause other problems? Well, at least it’s working now

Thanks for the announcement to let us know. I recloned 5.1 release branch twice before coming here and realizing it was an Epic issue and once again last night (1 AM Central African Time.)

5.1 I still not working. However 5.2 Is.
Unfortunately I cannot use Lyra 5.1 in 5.2 as Epic has not updated Lyra for 5.2. My project is based on Lyra. I will try recloning the release repository and running setup.bat and I will return here to let anyone in this thread know if the issue is solved or is still error prone for the release version of source build (5.1). Roughly 2 hours time.

How do you Update that? what do you mean by that?

Anyone just getting here. release/5.1.1 branch doesn’t work yet. Switch your branch to any of the origin/… branches that the staff announced as solved. origin/5.1 and origin/5.2 work. from my side.

Are you sure ? 5.0 Branch is not working Yet. Can you check again ?

Can we get a rough estimate for the 5.1.1 fix? Still appears to be broken. Thanks!

This is getting insane, it has now been 3 full days. This is seriously hurting peoples productivity. How many projects are just on hold now because of this!?
