Unwanted hard edges in UE5 level editor (and not elsewhere!)


I wasn’t sure whether to post this on here or in the archviz forum, but I have an issue with a specific asset in UE5.

While it appears smooth as a baby’s bottom in the Mesh Editor, other projects, and other software, the edges of this object appear hard when inserted in the level editor and at render. I figure it’s a setting somewhere I might not have thought about, but for the life of me I can’t figure it out. It’s also the only mesh presenting this issue as far as I can tell in the project.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on?

Yo I just got the same problem, but what I found the solution for now was to turn on the Ray Traced Shadows in the project settings.
