Rust O Bot was my entry to the Unreal Mega Stack O Game jam. This is a survival Horror physics puzzle game where the player must carefully navigate a dark spaceship while actively solving puzzles in order to survive.

One really cool feature I added which I’m particularly proud of is my binary status system which constantly updates with essential information about the characters current condition in a creative and unique fashion.

I rushed the level design in only 2 hours which resulted in some mistakes that may prevent player progression, such as; placing static meshes instead of the intended blueprints in a couple of areas, however I fully intend to continue development on this game and am already working on v2.0 which will correct these mistakes and add many features that had to be cut to meet the jam requirements, including; an actual storyline, proper audio, more puzzle types, enemies including bosses, more player freedom and capability, and larger levels.

Unfortunately I encountered packaging errors with Unreal Engine 5.6.1 that prevented me from meeting the submission deadline. Despite this setback, I’m eager to continue developing Rust O Bot and look forward to sharing future updates with the community.
