UnrealEngine Build 4.7.6 or latest error

Hi, I try the latest build and it fail to build 2 projects, even the last release 4.7.6
I compile in windows 8

It’s that normal? I suppose not :slight_smile:

Is there a way to know where the error come from? the problem is it compile files but it is done outside the IDE so it show error but you just don’t know which file generated the problem, so I can try to try to do something about it.

All this error append with the 4.7.6 or latest but not on 4.7. I need to use the latest version because I use stuff from UT and the engine changed since 4.7 so I cannot use it.

I suppose some detailed log exists somewhere?

Ok by default the project start in Win32, I switched to Win64 and now Unreal Engine 4 compile without any issue.

I don’t know from which file that come from since it is done externally like I say from my earlier post.

Any help to know I to setup my environment better for compiling, I am on Visual Studios 2013 Community.

If you’re having problems compiling the code for a project you may want to make a post on the AnswerHub (https://answers.unrealengine.com/index.html). There it will be easier to track your issue and assign someone from the support staff to investigate. Be sure to include as much information as possible such as if you’re using the binary version of the engine from the Launcher or the source code version from GitHub or whether this occurs when trying to compile a new project.
