Yeah, I was using a mac for Distribution builds - it spits out the same error at the beginning when packaging is initiated but it compiles fine and has been working fine from TestFlight.
I think you might be having a better time since you are using a Mac. However, that is not a great option for me. I have been working in AnswerHub to try and fix this issue but it seems to me that 4.10 is the problem. Development currently on 4.10.1 to finish a build, on a pc, is heavily broken right now. To find ways to work around a broken system is not really a way to fix it, but Epic needs to work on fixing it themselves. Which I have not heard if there is a Trello ticket or anything about this issue. I expect one to be created, if not already.
Making an iOS Build on a PC is broken right now because Apple changed how they generate the certificates using bytes that Epic didn’t have to use before as they were not used.
This results in every single certificate you make to not work on PC for iOS apps as they have to reverse engineer the process all over again to figure out how to make the certificates again. There are no ETAs on this.
If you are lucky, maybe you can make a 4.9 build on a Mac.
Thank you for the response. I did mention in the answerhub post (Here: [4.10]Unable to Build to iOS in 4.10. But same Provision and Signing keys work in 4.9 - Mobile - Unreal Engine Forums ) That I was able to use the certificates, and provisions of a new project in 4.9.2, creating a test build to send to apple. I then submitted it to Apple and they did accept it (Didn’t call it a invalid build). This was on the PC. The same new provisions and certificates that don’t work on 4.10.1 however.
So a build on 4.9.2 did work with new provisions and certificates. That were created in November.
As long as it’s known I guess I can wait :). It is making it so 2 new games I made for the iOS can’t be released until then tho… But I do doubt it is only Apple’s fault. As it does work, no problem on 4.9.2
Still no real answers from Epic. I really love you all, but please take this issue seriously.
I second this, I am not able to package my project either. I am having the same problem as Bpop, but 10.3 doesnt fix this issue, not even 10.4…
Hi all,
We’ve just provided a solution to this issue in the Answerhub post: iTunes Connect invalid binary - Mobile - Unreal Engine Forums
Cheers
EDIT: This Doesn’t work for me. Still get Provision key not found!!!
I am trying to understand it, but does it have to do with the IphonePackager? If so, could I have the new one you guys mention in this post?
