Unreal Visualization/Technical Artist

**A fine art studio based in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a freelance Unreal Visualization/Technical Artist to work in-house with our tightly-knit studio team. **

PRINCIPAL TASKS:

  • assembling assets in Unreal, learning to use our Leocore-to-Unreal plugin

  • shading, lighting, texturing; building levels, creating and rendering camera animation sequences

  • **building a playable version of our “gallery game” installation layout tool. **

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • **3D scene assembly in Unreal **

  • level design, layout, surfacing, texturing, composition, animation, lighting, rendering

  • Basic 2D compositing of stills and animations, in photoshop and preferably also After Effects, Nuke, Fusion

  • color correction, basic editing, encoding

**PREFERRED SKILLS: **

  • Experience with Touch Designer
  • Experience in architectural visualization, particularly lighting
  • Experience with computer-controlled lighting
  • Experience with procedural/parametric modeling
  • Experience in 3D asset creation
