Hi - I am new to the forums. Can someone tell me what “specific” version of Unreal 4 is being used in the “official” videos. Trying to learn using 4.7 - but running into many differences.
Thanks for your help

Have a look at when the videos were uploaded, count back a version every month
I think they used version 4.1 or 4.2 -> but till 4.6 you shouldnt feel any big differences. In 4.7 the UI changed a little bit.
There shouldn’t be much of a difference but I have heard it mentioned in some of the official UE4 tutorials that sometimes they are using alpha or developer versions of the engine and some small things may be different
As far as I have seen, most features are still there. The UI, particularly the Blueprint editor, has had the most changes, but a little exploration never hurts. Only C++ has changed too much for the current tutorials to be relevant, but thankfully that will change: https://forums.unrealengine/showthread.php?63678-Upcoming-C-Gameplay-Example-Series-Making-a-Survival-Game
I think something like this would be nice. (minus that *Licensed To *text)
