That “Shipping” isn’t actually shipping, combined with the fact that the current (5.5) documentation on packaging (Packaging Unreal Engine Projects | Unreal Engine 5.5 Documentation | Epic Developer Community) has instructions with non-existing UI options (is it actually for 4.x?) makes packaging very confusing. It’s also very confusing that there are posts elsewhere online that refer to this as a bug with specific engine versions, but here epic is saying it’s by design? Is there documentation somewhere about what selecting “Shipping” under Binary Configuration and then clicking Package is actually meant to do?
