Hi everyone! I´m having an issue with the illumination of my scene: I have a lot of static lights (80), even the directional and sky light are set in static, but recently, the “lighting needs to be rebuilt” is missing. I have used the console command “EnableAllScreenMessages” and a bunch of others found in a similar topic of this forum, and the problem persists. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. And the weirdest thing is, if I try another Unreal version with a new scene, the problem is still there. Also, my scene is very laggy, I don´t know if I must have less lights or what, it used to be fine. Please help, I´m really stuck on this one.
Ok, I´ve solved it. i´ll leave it here for anyone who need it. I´ve created a new empty map, and I´ve checked out that in that map, the Message of rebuilding the lights does appear. So, I saved that new map, and I did open the “corrupted” map. Witch ctrl+A, and ctrl+V, I´ve selected all the objects in that map, and pasted them with ctrl+V to my new map. I´ve rebuilt the light (It wasn´t working in the corrupted map) and it worked as always. I hope this helps someone.
