Experienced in Unreal Engine 4, World Machine, Geoglyph, and video game level design, you will be a productive team-player, excelling at consistent progress. You will complete assigned tasks taking concepts and level layouts and turning them into outstanding terrain, game experiences, designed for both visual attraction and playability.
Our game is an open-world FPS with RPG-elements. This means we are creating areas that are large outdoor arenas, and around these natural arenas are scenic areas to explore. This is so that we can make memorable areas, to focus players, while also allowing them to explore anywhere and find all of the beautiful detail that we concept, block out, build and test together, with our goal of having it perform well across various systems. You have a love and passion for working on level design and creating environments the player can deeply experience, in awe.
Our design allows for open world 3D gameplay that is truly thrilling to experience. Like a rollercoaster off the rails, we put the players in control and they create the ‘wild-ride’. You will create parts of our expanding high-fantasy world where players win key arenas to acquire more territory.
You will be skilled in Unreal Engine level design, sculpting terrains, following map concepts, layouts, and designs. You will work remotely. You will track your time accurately. You will set forward your weekly commitment you are willing to make, your hourly wage range and currency of choice. IMU Studios is seeking a Level Designer for Contract work. As we transition to a fully-funded company, jobs may begin as a royalty position to test skills and expand the team, then becomes full-time paid work as we move into the production phases.
We are a dedicated team of professionals. We’ve got a playable prototype and now we need to grow the team to hit our milestones regularly, while our Business Advisor and our Executive Producer(s) continue to bring in the funding they source.

The free App and game are ‘better than free to play’, creating a real benefit to gamers as well as a way to market our game. iPlayMore is a start-up company owned by IMU Studios, who owns a mature Intellectual Property. This is made up of a thoughtfully-designed first-person, open-world, video game with RPG elements, and a deep story told across novels and cinematic lore. Monetized by virtual goods, players can buy, sell and rent. Together, we are making a thrilling multiplayer prototype, drawn from our design, and the compelling stories of our characters, all built on this beautiful Unreal Video Game Engine.
