I downloaded UnrealEngine-1.9.1-2352264.dmg for Mac from site – launcher says Unreal Engine 4.5.1 not installed - why is not everything included in Mac download? I’m using a 2013 iMac running Yosemite- otherwise vanilla.

.dmg only installed Launcher. You use Launcher to download and update engine. In Launcher, open Library tab. At top, click +Add Engine button. When new slot appears, select version of engine you would like to install (latest is 4.5.1) and click Install button. This will download that version of engine to same drive you installed Launcher on. Once that has finished, you will have UE4 on your system. Hope that helps!
