Hello
So this is my current situation:
two days ago i was programming normaly, there was no problem whatsoever, yesterday I opened engine added just couple nodes to my program (like literaly 5-10) and unreal started to lag A LOT every 1 - 2 seconds there is a .5s long hickup in both editor and in game…
I have no idea whats cousing this, the only thing I did outside unreal was reinstall my mouses (corsair) app (iCue) because it was acting funny but deleting it doesnt seem to fix anything…
I have disabled “enable transport” in UDP Messaging in project settings (someone said it fixed their issue) unfortunately it did not help
I have disabled vsync then enabled vsync but it seems to do nothing
I have enabled High DPI support in editor preferences in “appearance”
this is how it looks and I’m not even playing the game…
The only interesting thing is that if I’m NOT on my levels tab, but in one of my blueprint tabs, after a while it completely stops lagging… but when I come back to my level tab the lag comes back…
whenever Im within the highlighted box the lag comes back but when Im outside of it everything is ok… I tried deleting everything from there and even removing stuff to the side to figure out what specifically is cousing that but to no avail… its like this is the cursed box…
and still lag happens within blueprints, all of them
update:
I have created a new empty level thinking Im just gonna start from scratch, mayby something got bugged in my blueprints… but nope, even without ANYTHING loaded it lags like hell
funny enought if I go up above some height the lag stopps both in empty level and the one where I do most stuff… So that means something is wrong with the engine itself right?
I have disabled TCP and UDP messaging and studio telemetry via pluggins option (not in project settings) which didnt work for me BUT changing scalability settings → textures to low fixed the issue… I donw understand why or how, after all everything worked perfectly fine two days ago… and I didnt even update engine! smh…
