Unreal keeps importing wheel objects seperately. How do I get it to stop?

Looking for some help

My main character is not humanoid, and has wheels.

For some reason Unreal keeps bringing in the wheels as separate objects. The only way to stop this is to “Connect Mesh” on the fbx import settings… but of course this isn’t going to work because you can’t bring the skeleton/animation along with that option.

Everything else in my fbx imports just fine and is attached.

How to I get unreal to stop separating these specific objects?
