I just bought a second monitor (finally) to improve my workflow, but was surprised to discover Slate performance for undocked windows is terrible, especially full screen ones (on a second monitor). Blueprint graphs, the most important windows to have, in particular are atrocious.
Even the simplest windows like Input Actions take a significant bite out of fps.
Epic is apparently aware of this judging by a 10 year old tracker issue documenting the problem, now marked “Won’t fix.”
I’m just taken aback by this. Is everyone sticking to one screen, or just living with fractioned framerates while working in UE?
