Unreal installation Ubuntu 24 in own partition

Hello everybody,

i want to install the unreal on a Ubuntu system.
I will install the new LTS version first, as soon as I got the new SSD.
But I want to setup the partitions first. I 've already heared, that I will need use up a lot of space.
Right now I’m working beside the system partition with a separate partition for /home and another bigger one for my projects (mainly Blender Projects)
Is it possible to install the engine in a way that I can save the Unreal files on the project partition?
Or can I simply install Unreal directly on this partition?
I want to use the engine mainly for rendering.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Hello there @dacode-b!

I had good results with this tutorial when setting up UE in my old laptop. Please follow these guidelines to best perform the UE installation in Ubuntu.

Ok, thank you, I will try if this works for me.
