I am trying to import some animations I created in Blender to UE4. But when importing some of my spline bones are being rotated in weird ways (see the attached images). This only happens in some portions of the animation while others are looking fine. It also happens consistently, it happens on five out of six animations (always on different spine bones though) I created for this enemy.
I’ve isolated my IK spline to be the issue here, if I disable the constraint everything works.
I have also imported the exported version of the animation both in Blender and Maya where they were still working.
Exporting from Maya to Unreal did not fix the issue…
I don’t really know any other options to fix this. Can anybody help me?
