Hi there! As of a few weeks ago, buttons and inputs have completely disappeared for me from the UI of Unreal Game Sync. The app is still totally functional if I navigate inputs via keyboard, so I know they’re still there. For example, this is the modal that appears after clicking “Sync Now To > Specific Changelist”
If I ignore the blank UI and press the appropriate numbers + Enter, I can still successfully sync to a specific changelist. So… this isn’t preventing me from working, but is super weird. I’ve attempted to uninstall and reinstall, but the problem persists.
Another example, the modal for opening a project is missing the entire section for Workspace:
I fixed it for a colleague by changing the compatibility settings on the UGS executable.
iirc I disabled fullscreen optimizations and set the high dpi scaling override to application. Not sure which of the two did the trick.
You’re my hero, chete Looks like disabling the full screen optimizations was enough to fix things!
For anyone finding this in the future, here’s the steps:
Navigate to Settings > System > Display > Graphics
Either turn off “Optimizations for windowed games” globally or use “Add an app” to toggle the setting off for the UnrealGameSync executable specifically.
Things were immediately fixed, with no need to close the app, but ymmv. Best of luck!
