Hi!
I am hopefully at some point releasing a game on Steam made with UE. A question considering EULA: Is the most convenient way of doing this by using the Steam option of asking the player to read and agree with the EULA which is prompted first time at the launch of the game and displayed on the website of the product: “Requires agreement to a 3rd-party EULA [Name of the game] EULA”.
Is this the recommended way or is there some other practical way to satisfy the product checklist part: “Write a EULA for your product that explicitly disclaims any representations, warranties, conditions, and liabilities related to the Unreal Engine. Some example language can be found here.”
Mainly, I am curious as roughly half of the games on Steam (also many that have been made even with UE) don’t ask the user to agree with the EULA in this way.
Thank you!
