Unreal Engine won't launch

I’ve installed UE 4.22.3 on the Epic Games Launcher, I’m on Mac OS X. Each time I try to launch it Epic Games Launcher just closes and nothing happens. Please help.

tried to open the unreal engine from its .exe, without the epic games launcher?
