Unreal Engine Weapon Mesh Bug

Dear Unreal Community,

Important to know:

I created a weapon system with several weapons. There are Rifles, Snipers and Pistols.

You can shoot and reload. Everything worked fine for weeks now until yesterday.

I just opened the editor like on any other day and saw, that the Pistol is bugged. But only the pistol, none of the other weapon types.

What’s the issue?

Now since yesterday, every time I trigger the shoot animation the pistol rotates to the right and kinda deforms the pistol mesh (see video).

It all used to work so good, which is why I have no clue how to fix that.

It is even working fine if I shoot while I am not aiming.

It still works totally fine with the other weapons.

Can someone help me?

If its the same issue im having, i fixed it by putting the propper shoot animation in, left it as none for the weapons that didnt have an animation
