Unreal Engine ( Thank you )

I worked on finishing the full player start area, which is basically interconnected with all the Labs. The next step would be working on the level design when the player finally exits the Lab to find out more about the mystery around the green pile-like structure and who are these bigger humanoid figures that the player sees in the lab.

Here’s the story/lore for this level design (Human Messengers): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gogTWzdg7gJWLTppyX2bglmJVpKTlJVC/view?usp=sharing

I have been very busy with probably one of the biggest game jams of 2025. In my last game jam I learned a lot using Fork, and now I am learning more about Perforce, which has been interesting, at times a little bit difficult, but mostly fun to integrate these skills to work well with others on the project. Most importantly, I was also given an opportunity at a start-up indie company as a Level Designer with solid GitHub training and that was really cool. None of these gigs are paid, but I am learning a lot from each experience and that’s a win for me and no, none of them are scams! All of these projects are run by industry veterans who want to create something cool but don’t have enough money to pay for and this is perfect for me to get my quality portfolio numbers up and which, in the long run, will land me a paying job.

I know about the layoffs and how hard it is to some extent, but I have no choice but to keep pushing and that’s the same for everything. If I focus my energy on how difficult it is, then I will just worry and fall into rabbit holes of dirt. I cannot allow that in my mind, and I’ve had people telling me that this is insane and impossible without proper education and I will prove to them that it is possible with hard work, finding like-minded people along the way and being persistent. If you reading are this, do not give up and keep pushing!
