Unreal Engine Project Crash on launch

Found solution: Removed defaultengine from config folders.

I was attempting to make a main menu for my game by loading a world. Upon testing my PC bluescreened and turned off. Now whenever I launch the project It crashes instantly. My last backup was from two days ago, so I really dont want to lose 15 hours of progress. What can I do to try and fix this project from crashing by editing the files?
