Unreal Engine process has crashed

I managed to open this here:

Can I remove the plugin from here maybe? Is that what you ment before? I don’t know if the xml is actually containing the project file, or if it’s just a crash report…

No, this is just a log…

I think I found the issue why it doesn’t want to load properly:

For some reason I have all these backup/log files?? If you look at the scrollbar to the right how tiny it is… It contains probably over a 100 of these? Why??

No wonder it crashes and wont open lol wth xD

Okey I tried this, but it didn’t work… It still crashes the project

Was there anything in the event viewer?

What is the event viewer?

See my post, up there…

Oh yes sorry I’m tired! No there wasn’t anything special, just some internet issues. I even ran a file scan in the cmd but came back clean

Ok - reset

I’m checking: You can’t open the project folder in windows, do I have that right?

It’s starting to work slowly now when I’m deleting all these files

Ok I can open it now:

What do I do? =)))

And the light dawns, I think.

Are you storing this folder on your onedrive?

See the post marked in green ( the answer )

Or maybe the red X means ‘not on Onedrive’. I don’t know because I’m allergic to everything M$

No, because it’s too full, so I don’t have more space

If you’re trying to pull most of an Unreal project from the web, that would be slow…

Yes it’s a indicator of syncing to one drive is not there… Are you saying that I need one drive to be able to open the file ?

Like I say, I don’t use OD.

I don’t know what proportion of your stuff is local, and what on OD, but I would say this is the root of your problem.

Hmmm okey, I’ll try to store it in one drive and see if it fixes my issue

Other way around

I think the problem is ‘some’ is on ondrive and some is not.

You need it all on the local disc.

I removed the water I added before it crashed, and I get a different error now… Now it’s low on memory so I can’t open it still, but I found the “real problem”. Maybe my computer is not good enough for this heavy projects
