Unreal engine perfomance probleme und verbesserungen

Hello, I wanted to provide some feedback. It seems to me that your Unreal Engine 5 implementation isn’t quite fully optimized yet. I am requesting some technical adjustments, as it causes my PC—which is only three years old—to overheat severely. This happens only when I launch Fortnite (my system exhibits this behavior exclusively with this game). Even though I have set all graphics options to “Medium” or “Low”—and even used AI optimization tools to reduce RAM usage—I am still seeing RAM package temperatures of 80°C, which is extremely unhealthy for the hardware. My PC hums loudly, and despite using monitoring overlays, my cooling system struggles to settle down; this suggests that the game simply isn’t compatible with my gaming PC’s configuration. I would like to request that you prioritize balance over raw power within the Unreal Engine 5 implementation. I suspect there are unnecessary elements—visual effects that may look impressive but lack substance—that are overly demanding and consume excessive system resources on most computers.

After all, I am running a Samsung SSD and a GeForce 30-series graphics card; it makes no sense that I have everything set to “Low” yet still experience 80% RAM utilization while playing—not to mention temperatures hitting 85°C (and previously over 90°C when I had settings on “Medium” with performance latency enabled). It would be great if you could adjust the optimization so that temperatures remain around 50°C and resource usage stays within 60%; Fortnite isn’t that massive of a game, and I feel that with my hardware components, I should be able to play it smoothly without the system overheating.

P.S.: Before any excuses come up—I have the latest updates installed for all my software and for Windows 11, so the issue definitely doesn’t lie there. Your Unreal Engine implementation simply seems to contain unnecessary “cosmetic power.” I don’t necessarily need it to look stunningly beautiful; what I want is for everything to run smoothly—even if that means sacrificing a little bit of visual flair.
