Unreal Engine keeps freezing in a constant interval

Hello there,

I am new to unreal engine and I am having a problem with the engine since it keeps freezing in a constant interval. It does not matter ether I am in play mode or just browsing the many windows of unreal, the freeze keeps happening in a constant matter. I have provided a picture that shows the frames drops plus other stats.

things that I tried :

  • lower the graphics settings
  • switching projets and the product version
  • updating my graphics card
    I think that it might be a problem with my graphics card but I am not sure. I am using a 1070 ti gtx

I am a student and would be pretty nice if I can fix this inconvenience since I am going to spend a lot of time in the engine this semester.

Me too, which is even more odd because this never happened before… but started happening after a Windows 10 update.
