WHAT
Hour of Code is a worldwide initiative that aims to teach coding skills to people of all ages in a fun and engaging way. Epic Games has worked with top game design educators to develop a wonderful set of Unreal Engine lesson plans for Hour of Code.
These lesson plans were developed using a new asset pack that will be available soon on the Marketplace that contains a huge set of environment assets, effects and a fully rigged and animated character. We’re also including the full art source to the content allowing educators, trainers and students to really learn how modern game assets are built.
Join us as we welcome Seven Siegel, our Student Programs Manager and producer of the lessons and assets, to dig into the Hour of Code lesson plans and content pack and see how this material can be utilized in a learning environment.
Join us once again on Tuesday, January 5, for another informative Educator Livestream on twitch.tv/unrealengine.
