Q: I’m a student and I want to use Unreal Engine 4. How do I get rolling?
A: Direct the teachers and administrators of your school to the Sign-Up Form to request licenses for you and your peers. Once your institution is set up, they will issue you a redeemable code that gets you access to the engine.
Also, Students can obtain access to Unreal Engine through our collaboration with GitHub’s student pack.
**Q: **How does licensing work for me? Do I still get updates and source access? What happens after I graduate?
A: Yes! you still get all the updates as well as source while you are enrolled in school. After you graduate, you’ll be able to keep your current snapshot of the engine, but wont get any updates to the engine unless you subscribe again.

A: Education license codes are good for one year’s subscription. if you are still enrolled after the year is up, they will need to be renewed for the next year by your school.
Q:** I already have an Unreal Engine 4 subscription, but my school is getting me a license as well. How does work?
A: Education license codes will be redeemable toward your account, so you’ll be able to keep your existing log in, and continue without paying until the license expires. Then, you’ll either continue subscription via another education code, or you’ll revert back to the paid subscription model.
Q: Is the program available outside the US?
A: Absolutely. Have your teachers or administrators sign up the same way mentioned above.
