Unreal Engine drop-down menus not showing properly

I am working on a game project in Unreal Engine 4. I am experiencing a reoccurring problem where the drop-down menus will stop showing after a certain point. I am not sure what causes the menus to stop working properly. When I right click, click the top menu buttons, or do anything that shows a drop-down menu, the menu will show for an instance then are invisible. I have searched other forums and have not found a solution, right now the only fix is to save and close the project and reopen it, but I still encounter the problem later. I can provide more information if asked.

Try setting your GPU settings back to default. NVIDIA control panel.

There was a certain driver issue for this , supposedly the newer drivers fixed it , but , though i forgot where it was , Nvidia released a simple registry fix that worked for me , it is here After updating to NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 461.09 or newer, some desktop apps may flicker or stutter when resizing the window on some PC configurations | NVIDIA (custhelp.com). For me it would flicker at first , then the menu’s would just go black and disappear. Restarting fixed it for a while , then it would come back. Not sure if this is the same issue as you or not.

I think I am having the same problem. I just updated my Nvidia drivers and am still having the problem.

This did not fix the issue.

Can you be more specific about the issue? Are the menus appearing, and then disappearing, or only partially appearing? Can you do a pic?

Try also switching back to the ‘studio’ drivers.

It differs, but usually the menus appear very briefly and then disappear. Sometimes they flash really fast, and sometimes there is just black space. I can try to record it the next time it happens.

I am also unsure if I should change my drivers, since I use my PC for gaming and other purposes.

It is a driver issue. And you can switch easily between ‘studio’ and ‘gaming’.

I had blank overlays, and some flickering. Studio drivers with default options cured it.

There is also a registry fix, it depends how far behind your are with drivers

https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5157

and / or

turn off G-SYNC in the NVIDIA system settings

My drivers have just been updated to version 522.25, which released 2 days ago. I can try changing to studio drivers, although I am not sure how. Should I try to registry fix if I have the latest drivers?
Also, I tried recording my screen with OBS to show the problem, after I closed Unreal the video shows that the menus are normal, so it is definitely a graphics display issue.

When you choose drivers

Yea , i did use the studio driver for a while and it worked , but eventually i found the registry fix , and i believe that stopped it , but i dont know , it could be different on different systems.

Did you try the registry fix?

THANK YOU I HAD A SIMILAR ISSUE AND THIS WORKED
