Hello, can someone help me with this?
This is what I see in the content browser;
And this is what I see in Windows Exploder;
It would appear that pretty much every time I’ve duplicated a file and renamed it, or made a test file and deleted it, or even made a material instance and moved it, Unreal leaves a copy of that file in my project folder. They are Everywhere. I hate it
How do I get rid of them all without manually going in every folder and cross checking it with what I see in the content browser?
I’ve already fixed up all my redirectors using “Update Redirector References” on my entire project folder. I always have them visible and fix them immeadietely. Plus I just did it again now to check. The garbage files are still there. It really bothers me ![]()
Any suggestions? If there’s no way to automatically do this, I am going to go in and manually check every folder, but I would assume that there has to be an automated way of doing this.
Right?
