Unreal Engine 5 stripping symbols when linking static library during building Android

Out team has created a plugin which links a static library. After packaging the project successfully using Unreal Engine 5 while inspecting the symbols using the objdump we are noticing the native symbols are stripped. However, packaging the same project using Unreal Engine 4 and same exact code base, we are noticing the symbols are present. Is there something extra setting we are missing that needs to be provided for Unreal Engine 5?
