Unreal Engine 5 | Real Location Archive - Tokyo Graffiti Art 01

I combined laser scanning and photo scanning technology to create a realistic space.
Real Location Archive has created data that can also do VirtualProduction in real locations.

Very good job!

Hi there @Daisuke_Sakamoto,

Just wanted to pop in and say this short video is beautifully done. The lighting, gritty-ness of the environment, and incredible detail of the graffiti resulted in a professional and polished scene. Great work!

Have you created anything similar since?

@PresumptivePanda
Thank you.
There are no similar works that can be released publicly from now on, but I’m planning to create another one, so I’ll upload it when it’s finished.

Hey there @Daisuke_Sakamoto !

I came across this video and was astonished at the detailed scene you created. I also love seeing the process that you followed when making this scene. It’s so absolutely beautiful!

Out of curiosity, how long did it take from start to finish?

Thank you!
It’s not accurate because I made it between projects, but I think the production period is about a month.

LiderScan + photogrammetry modeling optimization takes about 2 weeks,
I think it will take about a week for Texture and a week for adding details and lighting at the level.

Hey @Daisuke_Sakamoto !

I see! Thank you so much for letting me know because I’m not as familiar with making realistic scenes like this so I’m always curious as to the time that it takes individuals to go through.

Is LiderScan easy for one to pick up or is it something that takes time to understand?

@The_M0ss_Man
LiderScan equipment is very easy to use, but very expensive.
