Hello,
I have a problem related to my installation of Unreal Engine 5.1. I downloaded it yesterday, but last 3 gb i left on pause and shut down the computer. Today it told me it is over 100 gb download and i dont have space left. That situation brought me where I am now. I have files but not showing up in Epic lauincher. Can I do anything instead of reinstalling?
Hey there @FaZe_Icebreaker! Welcome to the community! The launcher should verify the other files when it starts installation again and not skip them. However if it’s giving you an out of storage error when it tries to do this, it may not be picking them up immediately. Technically if it could initiate, it would still just check for the file then download it if it’s not there, but if it won’t allow you to get to that point due to storage, it’s likely best to go for a full reinstallation barring data caps.
You can manually prompt it to verify. Click the down arrow on the engine button (not “resume” in your example, but explicitly the arrow), and select “Verify” from there.
