hi,
I would like to ask something about UE5 and UE4
I want to buy course about UE5 but UE5 is slow and lagging so much on my computer
UE4 is good so I want to use it
my question is can I use UE4 and watch course of UE5( C++ & Blueprint course ) without any problem?
There are a lot of differences between the two engines. You’d probably find the course fits in to 3 categories
-
Same as UE4 ( quite a lot )
-
You have to do some experimentation to get it work, because thing do not work quite in the same way.
-
Some stuff in 5 is just not available in 4.

thanks.
I want your answer for this
can I get through the course or is it a bad idea?
It really depends on a lot:
-
How much does it cost?
-
What is covered?
There’s a very good chance you’ll learn a lot, but it could be that a major module is just not possible to follow because of the engine difference.
I think you’ll be ok. Even the first one ( that says 4 ) says 5 in the details
There might be some issues, but on the whole, I think you’ll be ok.

Try not to go broke first paying for Udemy courses!
Don’t worry I will not
For new student there is discount so ye
for UE5 I will try it , if it did not work then I will try fixing issue in UE4
