unreal engine 5.5 preview nanite skeletal crash

Hello I keep getting this error for trying to enable nanite skeletal. I did try it a few times on the main build weeks ago and I thought it was just not working at the time.

but now that the preview is out I thought it was just gonna work. but its the same error.

Assertion failed: LCIs.Num() == 1u [File:D:\build++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\Renderer\Private\Nanite\NaniteShading.cpp] [Line: 620]

im having this issue too.

Turning off Allow Static Lighting under Engine - Rendering in the Project Settings allows enabling Nanite for me

wow actually worked! Great find thank you

Tried turning off static shadows and r.Nanite.All and still crashing

Got it to work with the mannequin. wondering if its the mesh I am using
